Gainesville Dermatology & Skin Surgery Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policies ensure our office runs smoothly for all our patients. Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to our employees and our clients, the following policies are honored:
If you need to cancel your appointment, please allow 24 hours to notify us of the cancellation. For example, if you are scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m., you should call us before 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
This allows us the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a "No-Show" cancellation fee for your appointment of the following amount:
- Regular Appointments: $75.00
- Excision Appointments: $150.00
- Mohs Surgery: $250.00
This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment if we are unable to charge on file. The cancellation fee will depend on the type of appointment that is scheduled.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we may need to reschedule your appointment to another time.
